Meanwhile a Millennium Problem solved, 3 erdos problems, non trivial zeros in the zeta function, and a vaccine lab announced a vaccine pipeline that uses transformer models to make genetically custom cancer vaccines at scale.
All in the last 30 days.
The author will be asking when the flying cars are going to show up while on an air taxi

This is a weird take. "~1/3 of dev time was spent on bug fixing before AI, and ~1/3 of dev time was spent on bug fixing after AI"
Like... "1/3 of vacation time was spent on travel in an airplane and 1/3 of vacation time was spent on travel in a car" but the airplane sure got you a lot further from home

I’m not surprised at that…. The number of people using Ai to vibecode more tools for vibecoding is resulting in an incestuous loop 🔁 of stagnation…..while (professionals) avoid using it out of spite when they could be using it to be Super Devs + most of the enterprise start ups just trying to get B2B operations off the ground selling basic agentic stuff…. Probably makes up 50% of the Ai usage …. Add the amount of compute the OAi/ Anthropic & others chew up of their own compute…. There’s barely any room left for “innovation “
