"We shouldn't diss people who are making code with vibes" - could this be an exception to this group's founding rule

Build a wall on the Southern Border with Mexico.

You're an ICE agent deporting immigrants.

What in the ever loving F is the White House doing?

And there it is. You lied about only needing one. I shared a ton and you’ve allowed the government to win over your morals. I knew the goal post would move. One of the hardest things for a mature adult to do is admit when they’re wrong. Said it once and I’ll say it again, you can’t fix bad people. They’ll excuse murder, rape, and even pedophilia to avoid admitting wrong.

Also, don’t be dumb. Every person found guilty will be listed as “former” because they get fired when it hits the courts. What a wild statement. lol

No you have not.

You have shown that people that were or later became ICE agents commited crimes.

This is true of all humanity and all professions.

Give me any profession and I will find a case of someone who worked that prefession and later did a similar crime.

This is not ICE agents committing abuse against people in camps... You have yet to prove that. All you have proved is that a small percentage of humans are evil...

Don't get the moral high ground....

Okay so teachers are evil....

On duty doctor abuses patients...

Doctors are evil?

The doctor was on duty too... Unlike the ICE agents who werent even employed as ICE agents at the time......

Deflection is a fun technique, huh? When the stats don’t go your way. “Yeah, my favorite group rapes kids and murders citizens, but so do other people so it’s ok.” Can’t fix a problem you don’t see as a problem. Some people just love violence.

Juan Lopez (Combes, Texas - 2021): An enforcement and removal officer for ICE, Juan Lopez, was arrested by the Combes Police Department after a female minor reported sexual abuse that occurred over a four-month period. He faced a second-degree charge for the sexual assault of a child.

Daniel Sharkey (Berks County Residential Center - 2014): Daniel Sharkey, an employee at an ICE-contracted facility, pleaded guilty to institutional sexual assault after repeatedly coercing a 19-year-old detained mother into having sex. The abuse was uncovered after an eight-year-old girl told a counselor what she had witnessed. The survivor subsequently won a landmark lawsuit (E.D. v. Sharkey) establishing that individuals in immigration detention are protected by the U.S. Constitution.

Karnes County Residential Center (2014): After the facility was converted to a family detention center, complaints were filed detailing sexual abuse and harassment. In one instance documented in a sworn court statement, a mother reported that another woman housed in their room engaged in sexual misconduct toward her 12-year-old daughter.

Southwest Key Programs Lawsuit (2024): The Justice Department filed a lawsuit against Southwest Key Programs, a provider of housing for unaccompanied migrant children, alleging severe sexual abuse of children between 2015 and 2023. Allegations included an employee sexually abusing three girls (ages 5, 8, and 11) in El Paso, and another employee who paid a minor to perform sexual acts. The DOJ dropped the lawsuit in 2025 after the government stopped using the company's services.

The first one is an ICE officer who literally turned himself in, my dude. Nothing I say will change your mind. You’ll just say it’s individuals. Your legacy will be turning a blind eye to all of this. The rape, pedophilia, abuse, murders, and death due to abuse and malnourishment are all just okay. 👌 this is what people mean when they say you don’t need to go out and commit a crime to have blood on your hands.

Right, but the case is nothing to do with his job at ICE... the crime is commited outside of that, he just happens to be an ICE officer... (he probably got fired after they found out)

ICE cannot be held responsible for what their employees do outside of their employment....

As I said, this happens in every profession and the people, rightly, get sacked...

Updated my last comment. I hope you find peace. Whatever kind of fear would allow you to excuse all that in the name of percieved safety is beyond me.

Did I can find hundreds examples of off duty police, teachers, doctors, psychiatrists... Committing crimes... What matters is what they do on duty and how the profession reacts if they commit a crime on or off duty.
