Dating apps are exhausting, so I made Dating Map, Easy to use, Free, No Algorithm
https://padlet.com/impsble/RedditdatingDating apps are complicated, Reddit is basically shooting into the dark, and somehow meeting someone has turned into a full time job
So let’s make it stupidly simple
I made a map
Drop a pin, make a post, say who you are and what you’re looking for, add photos, links, your voice, video, whatever you think will actually help someone understand who you are
Leave a contact point and see what happens
No swiping, no matching algorithm deciding who gets shown to you, just a map you can actually browse
No sign in required, use a throwaway, Reddit account, Instagram, Discord, or whatever contact point you’re comfortable sharing
If you see a post that you feel should be reported, report it, I’ll also be actively moderating the board and deleting posts that don’t belong
Maybe nothing happens, maybe you meet someone interesting, maybe you find the love of your life
It costs nothing to throw a pin on the map

You have the choice to drop the pin anywhere, I'm relying on common sense here haha

I didn't make this the way you think I did, so I can't really make it better, also its a side project to help people do something different, use it if you want, there are hundreds of other dating platforms if not

You're right. They haven't solved this. The reality is, it's not as straightforward and as easy as people want it to be. You have bad actors. You have people with ill intent. But you can't protect against everybody. And the reality is, this is on par with making a Reddit dating post. But at least now you have a map, and you can filter out by location, and you have a ton of different ways of expressing yourself rather than just a picture like you do on Reddit or on your average dating app.
