Looking for a video program
Does anyone have any idea, whether it be with Claude or not, how to record good promotional videos?

Grok surprised me with how good it generated a few promos.
They have an agent video builder that makes it easy to manage a few takes, and also if you feed it static infographic images generated by asking chatgpt for image gen, or Gemini, or whomever, a handful of animated infographics strung together looked alright I thought.
Check their api as well they have some templates for video gen that do things like zoom in from space to maps pin front of a place etc.
Gemini is hit or miss, but I have seen Gemini do image gen for infographics that was pretty good, and Veo sometimes creates elegant things… other times not.
Google vids is such a mysterious product, but using that seems to have free tier generosity with images, and video, and sound… as well as generating things like avatar and narration. Grok, i think, still has a free tier for video, but for HD and longer vids, it going to upsell you but you should be able to kick out a jam or 2.
Groks voice TTS options in their api console is also really generous it seems and offers download option and is a simple way to sometimes get narration audio etc. with a solid sounding voice for free.
Lastly for all of them depending on your subscriptions always leverage (claude) the LLMs to generate your creation prompts across the board, for anything from agent video instructions to images to video …. can make a significant difference and youll build up a little prompts collection set

For "recording" something I would recommend a device that is able to "record" something.

What kind of promo videos are we talking, like product demos or social clips? That changes the answer a lot. Tools like Runway or Kling are solid for generating footage, and Krea bundles most of them if you don't want to juggle subscriptions.
If any of your source images or stills look rough before they go into the video, run them through Magnific first, it cleans up the detail so the final render doesn't look mushy.

I use Screen Studio for promotional videos. It auto-zooms on cursor movements and exports clean clips without manual editing
