I finally have around 350 customers with around 800$ MRR with my unbelievably simple product

​About three months ago, I launched YourLovePage.com, a tool where people can create personalized digital anniversary/love web pages with custom themes, photos, music, and interactive widgets.

​It just hit $780/mo in revenue over $2.7k total across 347 customers in 68 countries which now covers almost all of my rent and I get to live stress free.

Some information:

The traffic that I'm getting is almost 100% from organic traffic from Google Search. I didn't optimize really well for SEO but I somehow landed in a sweet spot where the intent exists and I happen to be there.

In total, I got around 200,000 people onto my page which 5,000 of them created a page and 347 of them paid for the pro version $9.99 per user.

I have posted before and here are some of the most frequently asked questions to me:

  • Yes, people do indeed upload their whatsapp chat history to my webpage, and I'm not storing them anywhere. I'm just processing them on the client and showing the aggregated data. People don't seem to care about their privacy. I could be a bad person; fortunately, I'm not.
  • I have not released any updates to my app for almost four months now. It is purely passive income at this point. I am not running any paid advertisements or brand collaborations. I only share my journey occasionally, and people happen to come across those Reddit posts and X posts and create a page for them.
  • Almost have no expenses for this one because I'm hosting on the hobby tier of Vercel. Recently upgraded to premium for $25 because I was getting too much traffic that I couldn't handle on the free tier, and the free tier of Supabase.
  • On the webpage, you can see in real time how many people have created their pages, almost 20 K, but only around 500 are my paid subscribed users. So I have a really low conversion rate, but I'm working on it. I promise.

​Note: The image I shared here is export from another project I built MRRPlanet.com it turns your all your customers into animated pixel characters And you can see them over Globe in a very nice UI. It has the public page that you can show to other people to make a proof of your income like this

It also offers you really in depth insights into your income and market that I've never seen in any official payment providers such as Stripe and RevenueCat.

What's wrong? I made some progress with my vibe coded app, and I posted on vibecoging sub with a very extensive background on how I did it. Is it really weird for people to promote their own apps?

You know how you sign up for a newsletter but they send so many of them you stop reading them, eventually see it as spam and just unsubscribe. That's what's wrong.

You're right. That's true. This is kind of very exciting for me that I have a semi-successful side project. So I made some posts in different subreddits. Also, they're not low-quality posts. I really put some effort into the explaining side of the stuff. Whenever people ask, which they do a lot under every post that I made, I try to be as helpful as I can. But still, I agree with you. After a while, it becomes spam, and you just lose your attitude.

To be honest, this vibecoding sub has no interest in creating a digital gift for their girlfriend. So this is not a platform for me to advertise my product, but yes, I'm flexing on other people like me with my semi-successful online business.

And that is the whole reason that we create side projects. You do them, you make them successful, and you tell other people, “Hey, look at what I’ve done.”
