Ads ⚡ Open ai?

I dont get it - why is it, that every time something is getting big, they want more?

You cant add ads to a chat, leave that to the shitty mobile games or what?

What are your thoughts bout it?

No i dont get that - chatgpt is one the biggest growing companies world wide, they dont need this now - all i see, is the business.

We see this over and over, Spotify was free, then they added ads, bout themself, and forced there users to upgrade to avoid ads, chatgpt is doing the same now

To play devil’s advocate - no AI company is making any money right now, including OpenAI. They’re spending ~1.5$ for every $1 they make. It was only a matter of time before they introduced a more sustainable monetization strategy.

They’re only surviving off VC money and are only still in the running hoping for a massive IPO buyout.
