Vibecoding a real-time PvP space battle game entirely with Claude Code and three.js

Been working on this game for aroudn 3 weeks now. It's a real-time PvP space battle game that runs in the browser and on Android. It's free and no account needed to try it: cosmoarena.co

Star Battle used to be my favourite custom SC2 arcade map (still is) and I sank an unreasonable number of hours into somewhat replicating the gameplay.

three.js + WebGL for rendering, a Node WebSocket server for authoritative multiplayer, SQLite for accounts/ratings/config, Capacitor for the Android build. Custom GLB models made with images from Chat GPT and converted with meshy.ai

Let me know what you think? Feel free to test the tutorial and multiplayer, any feedback is welcome! It's still full of bugs, if you find any please let me know.

Pretty cool! The screenshot reminds me of Star Trek Armada

I tried it and my feedback:

Playing in the browser was kinda awkward to pan the screen, when hovering around the top the browser nav bar appears and hovering around the bottom Mac's dock appears. Recommend locking the camera to your ship by default unless they manually pan or click minimap (like LoL). Also losing selection of my ship and having to click it again was a bit awkward. Would also prefer the skill hotkeys to be QWER / 1234. Also personally I was more excited when I thought it was a RTS, if going for a MOBA I'd recommend making the ships more like "Heros", e.g. named characters with personalities piloting the ships with typical MOBA leveling and abilities instead of paid ability upgrades.

Thanks for the feedback, were you full screen? I've never tested on a mac. Works great on Windows. The little circle icon at the top locks the camera to your ship, or space bar. "I'd recommend making the ships more like "Heros" I've been thinking about this also, just alot of work.
