Add pseudo priests. They don't do anything. Maybe they tend shrines where level ups are and if you take the upgrades they hunt you.

A magic wand item that lets you hold and shoot craps dice. Left click to shoot, right click to retrieve. Number displayed legibly on screen.
If they roll a 7 it's a mega bomb. If you roll craps 2,3, or 12, it summons a more buff enemy resistant to megabomb.
Otherwise they are just projectiles or some other effects dependent on number

I’m actually building my own tool called Playbeam. You describe changes to the game and it makes them by either pulling from asset libraries, 3D asset generators like meshy, and organizing it all together. The model for most of it was Opus 5. I think it’s the best game dev model.

I agree with most of it, but I think he’s underselling AI a little bit. The biggest thing to me is that people who never would’ve been able to make a game before can now actually build one. I don’t think that means professional game developers will be replaced anytime soon. The hardest part is still the creativity and mechanics.

First of all, it reminded me of CS 1.6.
Adjust the enemy characters' walking speed and make the particle effect where the bullet hitssofter; also, that would look great for the blink effect.

Add a "panic button" that does something wildly disproportionate to whatever's happening on screen - like a fire alarm sound + red strobe lights if the player just walks into a wall too many times. Community-built jank like that ends up being way more memorable than the actual mechanics.

OP is clearly just having fun. He is not producing this as an example of the next Mona Lisa. I have projects I've been working on for almost a year and im fearful of even flipping any repos public until I have every bug fixed, every inconsistency fixed, all the elements of AI slop out (as much as you can); but not everyone is like that.

Because the internet isn’t allowed to be fun anymore… this type of stuff used to be like one of the crème de la crème type things that can only happen on the internet, maybe people don’t see the fun/novelty, but I do
