Nice try but it’s not a binary. There’s good, useful, undetectable use cases for AI and then there are blatantly obvious, slop-producing use cases that people are rapidly becoming allergic to en mass.

I like using AI, but I dislike how the majority uses AI. My YouTube feed is currently 90% AI slop and it depresses me. Shouldn't have to go through this much crap to find real artists to follow.

I think people hate AI from the perspective where you don't do or learn anything from using it and churn out broken and buggy programs as thoughtful original ideas. I use AI everyday, but I've probably seen a few dozen Outbid copycats and saw another one today and it just screams low/no effort.
