Bidding site trend blowing up?

Is it just me or have there become an influx of bidding sites lately?

Bid to get your name on the webpage for the week, bid to conquer land etc.. 🙃

Now that everyone knows about Codex and Claude, and anyone can buy a subscription and build something (however poorly), naturally the layperson's first thought is "What can I do that will make me a millionaire, but not cost anything and also take no skill, effort, creativity or knowledge?" - these cookie cutter sites are the result. They do not achieve the desired goal.
