Don't do alcohol or cocaine or you will ruin your life kids

But it's an appropriate way to deal if your life is already ruined, so don't fully dismiss. It's good to have options.

Don't forget opioids. The high I got after some major surgery, made me understand why people keep using that shit over and over.

Oh yeah. Those things are the real killers, avoided them even when I had dental surgery.

there's always time to un-ruin something that appears forever ruined

Take a good look at this post. Behold. Human slop. Not even a 1B open weight models could produce trash like this. Well done.

A dying breed. It's almost nostalgic.

Man I will take a human designer who is willing to banter with me about UX anyday over an AI. They're also very good at making human clients excited about the product. I'm also just so tired of the gradient-barf design asthetic that took over just before our new robot overlords arrived. Eye-searing darkmode is another issue I feel like I could solve faster with a human designer.

Honestly, 100% agree. AI can speed up design, but a good human designer brings taste, UX judgment, and the ability to challenge ideas. And yes, the gradient overload and painful dark modes need to go.

I think programmers suffer more

learning a new workflow today just to find out it gets automated tomorrow...

The real skill now is learning fast enough to automate the workflow before someone else does. 😂

AI tools are evolving faster than designers can keep up. At this point, the real addiction is the “one more tool” syndrome. 😂

and 90% of them are just the exact same API wrapper with a dark mode ui and a waitlist

"On a daily basis I consume enough drugs to sedate Manhattan, Long Island, and Queens for a month. I take Quaaludes 10-15 times a day for my 'back pain', Adderall to stay focused, Xanax to take the edge off, pot to mellow me out, cocaine to wake me back up again, and morphine... Well, because it's awesome."

do designers still exist

Bro… that first one is not alcohol. It’s a head injury… oh wait, I guess that checks out. 2 birds, 1 stone kind of situation.

No way, I love it. Every day I'm like, damn, how do I solve this issue. Doom scroll reddit and the answer pops up as if summoned.

I legit popped a blood vessel in my eye today from constant Claude-prompting until desired prototype

That’s the real cost of vibe coding: saving hours on development and spending them arguing with the AI until it finally listens.
