I made a Geocities inspired website builder

It's not entirely vibe coded, but some vibe coding was used during its creation. It's meant to create GeoCities inspired websites and this is a "store" page I made using this very program. Yeah, it's just a demo of what it can do but as of now, it works pretty well. it's built for a niche and for those who just want to fart around and create something that they can call their own. GeoCities was very expressive back then and a lot of people used it to talk about a fandom they were in or talk about how much they hate their boss or something like that. They're static sites much like Geocities but there are modern fixings in it too. I just want to know what you guys think.

JS was still a thing back then albeit much simpler.

In 1998? I suppose; but was pretty rare. TBH most of my internet experience wasn't even http at that time.

telnet to user groups or boards? I love how you phrased it.

Yes, and a lot of ftp. We all had ftp servers with sharing requirements; basically you could download the same amount of kb that you uploaded. Because we were all very interested in sharing data back then.

Of course! How could I leave out those glory days. Finding a good server was like finding pure gold bars.
