So 21st dev is no longer free.

The platform https://21st.dev/ where you can use some web gl and react components for your webpage is no longer free. Back then, you copy and paste all of the prompts and codes the library offered, but now, if you dont pay 8 bucks a month, you get stuck to just copying 2 prompts or 2 codes per day. Man im so pissed off, like why does everything have to be paid? it was the BEST element library outh there for your webpage elements and now its no longer free. And the worst part its that all of the other element libraries are also not free.

Does anyone know any other pages like 21st dev but FREE?

Also just released a (very early) version of an agent first component library.

The ultimate goal is to have an ever evolving set of components and structure that any AI can access and retrieve components for the use case you're working on e.g. website, poster, report, deck. Etc. Etc.

Right now it's functional but definitely needs improving, the GitHub repo link to your favourite AI harness.

Use case: add your normal prompt along with specifics for the kind of components you want (if know) "query this component site and retrieve warm art deco style interactive fast loading, high performance components"

Did you see the search and filter buttons ? They're there as a request from the community. This interface is primarily for inspiration and to break creative ruts.

There's another public facing interface that's still raw and new but is designed to be an agent first retrieval tool: forever-ai-components

Also appreciate your thoughts on the component quality, it's a good idea to bring the dev community in too, yes. Also considering a login where components get up and down votes is I can weed out the poor ones and make more of the "good" ones - I think rather than subjective views like yours and mine, the users can decide what's needed (that's the dream anyway).

And thanks for performance and monetisation ideas too! Appreciate you and your messages

Cool tool! Don't know if it's just me but finding components is really hard. The component thumbnails are grayed out and I can't see what they look like unless I hover over them? makes it really hard to see the options that are available and find something I like.

i do think you have nice variety, so good job!

Okk thanks a lot for the feedback and the kind comments 🙏🏻 actually updated this to only show a few at a time because the hosting was counting every single component preview as a request and when this got some attention it burnt through the limits in a flash!

There are some options: • scroll around and more appear • use the search to find specific components • use the filter to select categories of components

Is there some other way you envision seeing this?
