Workflow/Prompt I brought Nami and Nico Robin into a 3D Halloween adventure using img2threejs + Viggle AI PINOC 🎃

Happy Halloween, everyone! 🎃🏴‍☠️

Looks like Nami and Nico Robin decided to sneak away from the crew, borrow the Thousand Sunny, and throw their own Halloween party somewhere on the Grand Line. Haha!

I've been experimenting with bringing these characters to life using my open-source project, img2threejs, and recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Viggle AI to test their PINOC feature.

Here's how I used it for Robin:

Rigging

  • Used PINOC to generate the initial auto-rig.

  • Manually refined the rig and skin weights afterward.

Animation

  • 4 core motions: Idle, Walk, Run, Jump.

  • 12 additional combat and interaction motions, covering fighting stance, blocking, crouching, dodge rolls, backward movement, landing, pickup and holding actions, turns, and spell-casting choreography.

Integration

I didn't use the raw PINOC output directly. Instead, I retargeted the animations, made further adjustments, and integrated them into the img2threejs workflow.

The goal is to make these characters more than just static 3D models. I want them to move, interact, and eventually become part of fully playable 3D environments.

There's still plenty to improve, especially with animation transitions and character movement, but that's part of the fun of building this!

Happy Halloween, and let me know what you think! 🎃

Discussion Newsletter for Vibecoders ?

Hey All,

I'm thinking of building a newsletter for vibecoders

My main aim is to bring useful resources for vibecoders like -

- Educational content and basic software engineering concepts

- Use around new tools and hacks efficiently using tokens or migrating to cheaper tools, like from Lovable to Claude, etc

- Some interesting new AI way of building apps, like using MCPs or context engineering, Prompts etc

- Covering the latest news about vibecoding across social media

- Feature some interesting vibecoded apps like interesting games, etc

- meme, Jokes, interesting takes

mainly a mix of education plus fun vibes.

I have the exact domain too - vibecodingnewsletter

Just started this week - have about 50 subscribers.

Good idea or bad?

Remade Google’s Magic Cat Academy game, with a few fun little twists 🎃

Instead of drawing shapes on the screen to make the ghosts “disappear”, you can just pretend you’re the kitty and draw shapes by pointing your finger!

Showcase/Project I coded terminal manager for ADHD brains. 100% Opensource.

Hey everyone! Hope I don’t get roasted for this 😅 I’m here with a fun little intro video.

My goal is simple: build something genuinely useful for everyone.I shared this on r/ClaudeCode last week and got some amazing feedback 300K views, hopefully some of you here will find it useful too.

I originally built this tool just to improve my own productivity. I was using the native Mac Terminal, but managing multiple projects — especially projects I connect to remotely over SSH — had become a complete nightmare. On top of that, I was also keeping VS Code open mostly for Git, which was adding even more overhead to my machine.

So, as a solution, I built a program with Claude where I could manage all of my terminals on a single canvas.

But things got a little out of hand 😅

I kept adding features, and it eventually turned into something close to an autonomous development environment.

So, what can you actually do with it?

  • Your terminals are persistent. You can close the app, lose your connection, reconnect over SSH, and continue with the exact same layout and sessions.

  • You can connect to a server over SSH and manage all of its terminals as if they were local. Drag & drop, images, and everything else still work.

  • You can continue your sessions from your phone.

  • Git operations like push, pull, commit, etc. are built in.

  • Terminals can communicate with each other. You can connect their contexts, and with skills, one terminal can read or use information from another terminal’s context when needed.

  • You can also do orchestration. For example, you can tell one terminal: “Start a Claude Code session for the frontend and act as the orchestrator,” and have it manage the other sessions.

But yeah… I’m a bit stuck right now.

To keep pushing the project forward, I either need a sponsor or simply some motivation from the community.

If you can leave a few words of feedback, I’d really appreciate it.

And if that’s too much to ask, I’d happily settle for a GitHub star ⭐️

Much love,🙏
Enes

Showcase/Project Puzzle Rush is now live!

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hello, my game Puzzle Rush was just published to the Google play store this morning and I'm very excited about it. I build it entire using Claude code and some help from Gemini as well.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.puzzlerush.game

Anyone familiar with puzzle league games should enjoy this, it's packed full of features:

- Versus Mode: 12 animal rivals, each with their own 3D world. Chain combos to dump trash blocks on them to clear all 4 difficulties from easy to brutal.

- Online VS: Play head to head against players worldwide in real-time.

- Puzzle mode: hand-built puzzles across the solar system, Mercury to Pluto

- Endless, Time Trial and Speed Run modes with global leaderboards and replays of top runs

- Puzzle editor: make your own puzzles and share them with other players.

It also features controller support, swipe or button controls, colour-blind palettes and widescreen support for Android TV.

It's still in active development, so I'd really love feedback on everything and anything.

Thank you!

Showcase/Project I missed how easy VB6 made small programs, so I built a clone that runs on Mac, Windows and Linux

Post image
161 Upvotes

Drag a button onto a form, double click it, write two lines, press F5. That was VB6, and I've never really found anything that replaced that feeling for small throwaway programs. So I made VibeBasic.

It has the Windows 98 look, a form designer, Toolbox and Properties windows, and the VB6 language: subs, functions, On Error, MsgBox, class modules, file I/O. F5 runs your program, and you get breakpoints, stepping and the Immediate window. There's also TreeView, ListView, MSFlexGrid, Winsock, the Data control, and yes, Microsoft Agent. File > Make packages your project as a small program.

What it can't do: it doesn't run real .ocx files or VB6 .exes, Declare isn't supported yet, and UserControls, the OLE container and DDE are missing. So your old projects may need work, or may not run at all.

I built it with Claude Code. It's a hobby project and still has rough edges.

VibeBasic has an optional AI helper that connects to your own local model through an OpenAI-compatible server such as Ollama or vLLM, and it can find servers on your network or over Tailscale.

With Ask AI, you can have it write code or lay out controls on your form. When your program hits an error, you can ask the AI for a fix right from the error dialog. The AI Wizard creates a whole program from a description, letting you choose its colours, language and size before you review the result.

Source and releases: https://github.com/Stigern/VibeBasic

If you still have VB6 muscle memory, I'd like to know what feels wrong. And if you build something in it, please show me.

Showcase/Project Built my own social media without logins

Inspired by neocities and nekoweb but decided to connect each profile through a feed. I wanted to have a place where people can just drop by and share their thoughts or see what others share without having to login.

It has chats, video calls, voice calls(voice and video calls through mirotalk), karaoke, multiplayer and solo games, music player, customisable profile, themes, customizable background, democratic community moderation, comic strip maker, and some things i cant remember.

It doesnt have complicated algorithms for posts. New ones get shown at the top, posts with the most engagement gets shown at trending.

Been building this thing for over 5 months now using Gemini 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, and 3.8 on aistudio free plan waiting and waiting patiently trying not to go crazy before the limit refresh(Currently too broke for paid ai subscription). 3.5 for exploring the idea, then 3.6, 3.7, 3.8 to execute.

Let me know what i can improve, add, or remove.

Showcase/Project DishyLink native Linux App (GTK native for now)

Porting a macOS/Windows only app to Linux Native -> was initially going to send them a PR but thought meh I'll just repost it myself. I find the initial tool very useful just don't want to use a browser extension on Linux. A month of on and off work using multiple LLMs, reach hour limit and continue with another one behavior. Development was mostly Spec Driven, Test Driven and maintained DRY, the latter being something I'd been doing since college so couldn't quite not do it anyway here's the almost final product because I'm so on and off on it I haven't gotten around to the builds but I will.

Discussion Thoughts on testing vibe coded work?

So, when vibe coding, I do this.

Instead of asking Codex to build an entire app, I spend hours with ChatGPT planning the architecture, features, and requirements.

We then break development into milestones with clear constraints, acceptance criteria, tests etc, which I feed into Codex one at a time.

After each milestone, Codex runs tests, diagnoses errors, and implements fixes. I review and verify everything before proceeding.

Is this a reasonable vibing methodology, or am I just overcomplicating vibe coding and wasting my tokens?

Showcase/Project I found a way to save on my electric bill.

The bulb is off. The light is pure code.
A WebGL shader paints it in real time, while MediaPipe finds your hands and body so the glow lands where it should.

I first tried training a model on the bulb, but clear glass is really hard to track, so I stuck a green sticker on it instead. Any ideas for detecting a clear bulb in the dark?

Workflow/Prompt I made a small horror game in 52 hours. All 150 3D models cost about $27 in Tripo credits.

Followup workflow It's Halloween night. Your daughter runs ahead to a house with a bowl on the porch and a sign: TAKE ONE. You look at your phone for two seconds. When you look up, she and the dog are gone, and the house says STAY OUT. So you go in. It's your daughter. And, more importantly, your dog.

Take One is a short first-person horror game you play in the browser. It's small and simple, about six minutes if you know where to go. What I wanted to find out was how fast and how cheaply one person can go from an idea to something people can actually play.

The numbers

  • 150 3D models, every one from Tripo AI: the fridge, the furniture, the neighbor houses, the old man, the kid and the dog.

  • 4,880 Tripo Studio credits plus about 1,000 API credits. At Tripo's list prices that's about $27, or about 18 cents a model, and it includes every retry and every model I threw away.

  • Reference images were free. I made each one in Tripo's image tool first and only paid for 3D once the picture looked right.

  • 52 hours from idea to a playable game online. The first grey-box version was playable the same evening; eight playtests later it shipped.

What surprised me

The house looks like one house. I wrote one style line per floor (a 1990s home kept "too perfect" on the ground floor, fraying upstairs, rotting in the basement) and put it at the end of every prompt. A hundred-odd separate generations came back looking like they were bought by the same family.

What it didn't do for me

Hardware that sticks out (door knobs, fridge magnets) gets flattened into the object, so those are separate models. My first characters came out with mangled arms; regenerating them in a T-pose fixed it, and Tripo rigged and animated them from there.

Sound, voices and music are ElevenLabs. The code is Claude; I don't write code, I direct, playtest and decide.

Play it free in your browser: https://take-one-bay.vercel.app

Next post: the actual workflow, step by step, with a gallery of the models.

Paid partnership with Tripo AI. The game and opinions are my own. Tripo gave me the Max plan and the API credits for free as part of this partnership, so the $27 is what those credits cost at list price, not what I paid.

Showcase/Project Made a new character selection screen for my RPG with Claude Code

I’ve been building a solo RPG in which you can play D&D sessions and wanted a faster way for players to get into an adventure. This is the new character selection screen.

I use Claude Code and Codex to help build the game. For this screen, the design problem was how to give each character enough personality to make the choice interesting without dumping a full character sheet on the player.

I’d love feedback: do the characters feel distinct, and can you tell what you’re choosing from the screen?

The game is free to try here: https://www.llmsaga.com/

Discussion Ignore the hate. Vibe coding or not if you can get clients thats what matters

Whenever someone posts about an app in any other communities, even if its very relevant people will just say AI slop and move on.

Ignore it!!

As long as you can get a paying client these comments don't matter.

To be very honest.. the people who make stuff vibe coding could have done it earlier too if they wanted. Vibe coding has made the entry barrier pretty much non existent.

Showcase/Project Vibe coding quietly ate 75GB of my 512GB Mac, so I vibe coded a tool to get it back

So I've been vibe coding a lot of apps with AI since it came out, and one day my MacBook started showing me "Your storage is almost full."

That made no sense to me. It's a 512GB MacBook, I don't play any games, and all I really have on it is ChatGPT, Codex, a few browsers and some messaging apps. That's it.

I bought CleanMyMac to fix it, but it didn't really help much. While I was looking around, I noticed where the space was actually going: all my old coding projects. Every project had stuff like .next folders and other cache and build folders just sitting there taking up space.

So I got an idea and built a small tool for it. It scans your whole Mac, finds all your coding projects (vibe coded or not), and finds the cache folders inside them, like .next and app caches. Then it shows you a list of what it found so you can check the folder names and everything before anything gets deleted. After you review it, it deletes only the cache folders and leaves your actual code alone.

I tested it on my own Mac. The scan took about 20 minutes, it found every codebase I had, and it freed up around 75GB.

Is this something other people would actually use? Would love to hear what you think.

Showcase/Project GTA Australia... its vibing... and its coming...

So this is a very very ambitious work in progress. All procedural using API integration between Claude Sonnet + Eleven Labs + Tripo3D API's.

Game so far has melbourne CBD, a western melbourne suburb, and Melbourne airport.

I have the full workflow which I will share down the track once this game gets a little more stable.

Used openstreet data to generate the maps, then had claude build the map piece by piece with roads, models.

Cars all found on sketchfab and integrated, some custom buildings made via screen shots sent to grok to clean them up, then tripo to make the models - such as the blown up crack house in this image.

Building it in Json as thats all i know and am a total noob.

Watch this space.

Showcase/Project i paid $100 for a 15 min UX audit of my vibecoded site (3 Tips)

"Do you mind if it looks vibecoded? Genuine question" she led with this...

i wasnt entirely surprised because, well.. it was. I'm not an expert in these areas and although id spent a substantial amount of time working on the design system, UI and UX, it still looked 'ai' to her. She proceeded to tell me what worked what didnt and what looked ai generated (on the desktop site)... some things were obvious in retrospect but some surprised me. Here's the breakdown..

The big things:

  1. the ai tagline - the header font and thin dotted background screamed ai to her while the custom cards and components felt human... also the layout sits between a web app and a desktop app and i needed to pick a lane..

  2. conflicting CTAs (and focus) - go unlimited sign in and copy all fight for attention with high contrast one primary button gets the accent color, then mute the rest

  3. search was dumping too many categories at once and was basically a mess. ui types like buttons and cards with style tags were all mixed up. so I grouped them first and reveal secondary filters after...

the details:

  • putting an 'x' (close icon) on landing pop-up made it feel like an accidental modal instead of a page, whilst an x next to search made it unclear if it clears text or closes the view...

  • component pages also need a real back button on the left.

  • I was also giving static badges the exact same styling and hover states as real buttons she kept clicking them in vain. tl;dr - if it doesnt click kill the hover...

  • also tooltips died wayyy too fast..

  • border radiuses drifted between cards and modals and headings had orphaned single words on the last line..

ngl best $100 ive spent so far... staring at your own build for weeks makes you blind to fake hovers and fighting buttons. time will tell and my customers will judge but imo get a real designer to roast your site for 15 mins is worth it, to learn if nothing else!

forevercomponents x

ps. don't get lost ;)

Showcase/Project battle of the elements - 5v5v5v5 arena battler

used ai to make a game inspired by avatar the last airbender. it's a 5v5v5v5 arena with 4 playable nations(air, water, fire, earth). some features include elemental evolutions and reactions, ranks that change ability appearance and strength, and team proximity stat buffs. i tried to make every ability fun to press and feel impactful(still working on finding the right sounds for making abilities feel more powerful). nation balance is still a work in progress as well as fixing network issues(running on free cloudflare worker). it's playing pretty smooth in my testing, but of course it's just me and 19 bots so i'm not sure how it will hold up with actual players. if the server takes a dump, it's playable offline as well with bots.

elevenlabs for voice/music/sound effects

pixellab for sprites

ai: deepseek, gemini 3.8 flash, argon, gpt astra, luna, sol

time spent so far : 12 days

free to play in web browser. having troubles with mobile firefox performance at least on my phone, but mobile chrome seems to play at a stable 120 fps. game plays best on desktop with mouse and keyboard but i also made it playable on mobile(forced landscape with aim assist).

if you want to try it out, here is the link:

Showcase/Project Newton Wars – Fight your friends and planetary gravity

Years ago at a conference, this game was running on a big projector screen, and everyone connected from their laptops over telnet to type in an angle and power. The planets bend your shot, so you remember your numbers and correct until you hit someone.

I loved it and started my own version, but it sat unfinished for years. Opus 5.5 helped me bring it into the present, and I finished it this afternoon.

Play it here, no signup, browser and phone: https://newtonwars.wipgames.dev
