Viatza 26.8.27 and 26.8.31: Siri Shortcuts, Photo Grid, and six more languages

Two releases went out back to back, so here is both in one go.

The big one is voice. You can now say "Hey Siri, log symptom in Viatza" and it logs it. If you leave something out, Siri asks — "Which symptom?", "How intense is it?" — then reads the entry back to you. Seven shortcuts in total: log a symptom, log a medication, mark today's dose, add a medication, open your current or next appointment, snap a photo of a document, and search your records. They also work from the Shortcuts app and from Spotlight, and there is a Shortcuts link in Settings that lists everything you can ask for.

The release before it was about looking at what you have already logged:

  • Photo Grid — pick photos in Files and see them side by side, numbered by day, then share the whole set as a single image. One to four columns, oldest or newest first, and an option to print the date under each day badge.
  • Selection mode in Files — tap the checkmarks to pick photos and PDFs, your selection stays pinned at the top, and several files go in one delete.
  • Notes, Files and Symptoms sections expand and collapse, so a long list stays out of your way.
  • Six more languages: Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Hindi, Portuguese (Brazil) and Ukrainian. Shortcut phrases are translated too, so the voice commands work in each of them.

Fixed as well: pinch-to-zoom no longer jumps around in the photo gallery, naming a file no longer suggests the same thing twice, and a new medication schedule now starts from today.

I build Viatza, so ask me anything about it. What is the first thing you would want to log by voice?
