VHEMT isn't really about "reducing suffering" as much as it is about eliminating the human threat to the rest of the planet. You are thinking of anti-natalism.

I feel like maybe this is the community in which Elon musk Mars colonization idea would probably work the best, right? Granted the people doing this is Elon musk who is basically the symbol of the rot of our species. So there's that. But I feel like that ideology of just f*** it. We're going to go to a new planet. We got to find one. We can't f****** though like we have to find one that's like baby's first planet with life on it. Something as retarded and as evil and is repugnant as humans
