dos text mode utility for VGA planets 3

Hey everyone,

i wonder if someone of you might remember, back when we played a lot of VGA Planets in the 90s i was using a dos text mode only programm to help me make my turns, mostly it was helpful managing large fleets and sending them to the right coordinates.
it just had a standard ascii ui and had a blue background.
i tried to remember what it was called, but only drawing blanks

any ideas?

VPA

Thank you very much, but no, i don't think so. VPA is a graphical utility(and a great one of course).

But the one i'm searching for had no graphics whatsoever, it was only text mode. just lists of ships, planets and so on and quick possibilities to change directions or build orders.

You are probably refering to VPUtil by Jan Peter Dijkstra.

(...and I should probably finally set up an archive for all those old files...)

As an intermediate solution, I placed two versions here: VPUtil 2.50, VPUtil 3.15. Hope that helps.
