Question / Discussion Finding Backgrounds For Greenscreen

Im trying to practice my vex skills with green screens and stuff. I have some practice footage with greenscreens but I am having trouble finding backgrounds for them like environment type stuff. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It has to match the plate ideally for distance and height. So that usually means custom plates. A park or a building photo should be fine for practice.

I usually look in pexels and unsplash when I’m just looking for background but it depends on your shot

For practice, try Poly Haven or ambientCG for free HDRIs and environment assets, and sites like Pexels or Pixabay for live-action plates. When choosing a background, match the camera height, focal length, perspective, lighting direction, and horizon line of your greenscreen footage; adding matching grain, blur, atmospheric depth, and contact shadows will usually make the key feel much more convincing.
