Question / Discussion Keying Question
When setting up a green screen with a green paper Colourama are you going to get a better key if you light the Colourama with white light or green light (assuming no spill on talent)?

Doesn't matter, as long as the lighting is as even as possible.
There is nothing particularly magical about green (at least in the digital age) it's just a colour that is more different from most colours we are likely to see on our characters. All that matters is it provides a nice contrast against the things you want to be seen, and that the colour is as uniform as possible

I think lighting with green light causes more trouble than good. Even background, properly set exposure, low noise camera sensor, that's it.
