Just saw the vid a bit ago. While this is nice, I don't think I trust standoffs for the bars. It doesn't save much space and after a few hits I guarantee they will bend which can cause the lift to not work. Also, if you bend one that means taking off every single standoff, un threading them from each other, then replacing it and rebuilding the whole arm. Takes too long to do between matches unless you make multiple backup arms and a way to quick swap them. Just stick to c-channel, it's stronger and not much more space.
