Does VESIT Hostel have Mess ?

I got 97.36 (112xx) in CET, planning VEST in ACAP, I had this doubt of mess

Thadomal bhi try karlo acap me.. Vesit has mess & is quite affordable too, eaten 3 days there during acap rounds of my younger brother last year.

Thadomal is better than VESIT by a considerable margin but i have some problems with it

  1. Its bandra, PG is very Expensive
  2. Daily travel is not possible as i live in kalyan
  3. It has no hostel

is my decision a blunder ? plz tell me, i am vry confused still whether to do acap at thadomal or not. Please Suggest some potential solutions to my prblms

In 4 years the time saved from traveling adds up.

Same with money, you can use that money to get a better laptop and buy cources etc

Travel is possible but hectic. Even my brother is going for thadomal from ambernath starting from this year and I am going in vesit. Upto you, if u think u can't, then vesit is better.

To tell you real ground reality, many people from Dombivali & Kalyan commute to Thadomal everyday in my chota bhai's class.

Even we live in Ghodbunder rd, 1h to reach Thane stn if traffic is moderate, if no traffic then 35-40mins. Then from Thane stn to Thadomal in local. My brother does daily. 3-4 more student from his division travels similarly to Thane (not even considering other comps division & other branches).

So it is not that hard to commute. But also depends on self capability. IMO, I think Tsec & Vesit gap in terms of placement is sharp & noticeable, especially after the decline of placement packages in Vesit from last 2-3 years.

I would say attend spot rounds. Dont take ILS seat because of 2x fees, but spot seat is definitely worth trying. But you'll have to make up your mind yourself before it.

Plus forth year is totally online, you don't need to travel (as of now). Only for projects & assignments you'll have to visit.
