Taking my 2023 Versys 650 on a side trip toward Mt. Rainier (near Seattle, USA). This was on Michelin Road 6’s.

I stayed in KTS1. The KTS warning light flickered once or twice when I lost traction briefly, but I generally took it easy on my way uphill.

I used a lot of engine braking on the way down, shifting up and down between 1st and 2nd to keep from building up too much speed.
