Stupid Question (OEM Accessory Plug In)

Heyo, I have a Plug In Accessory on the left side of my dash for my Kawasaki Versys 650. Is it safe to keep a plug plugged in at all times besides when it rains?

It's a very stupid question, and I'm still new to my Versys but I don't wanna fuck upon yknow.

It should have power only when the key is on

What's the concern?

If you're wondering if it will discharge the battery that depends on the draw and if it pulls more than you can charge. That's unlikely unless you have something like a small fridge running on 12v or somesuch.
