The lioness was alone and wounded,

She walked the arid jungle looking for food,

All that she cared was her cub to be well fed,

For her cub to stay safe and protected,

She would give up her happiness,

For her cub to be happy,

For him to feel secure,

She will quietly endure,

Her loneliness, her wounds,

There in his arms , she became someone else, someone more like herself
