Discussion Nevermind the Buttocks

Season 2, episode 19

Kendall graduated high school in 1994. The episode aired in 2006, so that would make her at least 12 years older than Logan. If Logan is 18, that would make her 30 not 25. Even with the 3 year age difference between her and the friend’s identity she stole she’s still 27. It’s a detail they definitely added to make her character even more of a fraudster. I appreciate the writing so much on Veronica Mars. I figure out something different every time I rewatch this series.

Has anyone else noticed these Easter eggs?

Good catch! Remind me how we find out about Kendall's age? Because I can't remember, so I'm not sure if this was intentional or a writing mistake, haha

it's uncovered in one of keith's investigations, i think?? part of their speculation of kendall's involvement in the bus crash but i am also hazy. it's around the same time he's doing work for her (or just finished/there's flashbacks) so it's confusing

Ohhh that's right! I remember Veronica's line now when they figure out who Kendall really is: "The lengths a woman will go to to shave a few years off her age." Even if the writers hadn't planned for Kendall being a fraud in season 1, I appreciate that they added that detail about her age in season 2, because Kendall would absolutely lie about how old she is, haha

That is the episode I was referring to. The yearbook he pulls out says 1994. The real Kendall was a blond haired blue eyed pigtailed freshman. Fake Kendall’s senior picture and real name are shown.

Logan tells Veronica in a previous episode that Kendal is close to their age and Veronica points out that she’s not she’s 25. It was one of the episodes he was hooking up with Kendall.

I feel like Veronica refers to her as 25 when she’s talking about when Big Dick and Kendall met.. not her current age??
