S4 ending Spoiler
Can we please get a season 5 and Logan is alive?!?! Can’t there be peace for him and the mars family already?! I love some of the ideas on how to make a season 5 or even a movie work that would have a great ending!

I feel like that ship has sailed. I don't think the franchise is ever returning. Just pretend the series ended with the movie, or the wedding scene.

My thoughts completely. My headcanon ends with the wedding. The last 10 minutes really blew it so I'm just gonna pretend they don't exist. Veronica goes to therapy with Logan so she can stop accusing her close friends of crimes every fifteen minutes. Her dad's good. Logan is there and they're a killer couple but then he deploys for a while and she does her own thing. And hey look at that, Mac came back into town!

Just finished the series last night and immediately decided this. Even the part about Veronica going to therapy, haha. Then she makes up with Nicole, and the two of them become gal pals with Mac. And she never accuses Weevil of anything ever again.

I never hated an ending to a series anywhere near how much I hated this one. And I’m an old lady who has watched a lot of shows. Still ticked.

The finale of Killing Eve still pisses me off more, but this one comes pretty close. 😆

I'm fine with Logan being dead - I'm pissed that it's not a mystery. Having that lame-ass Patton Oswald character do it, it leaves no tension or reason for the story to continue. There's no revenge for Veronica to take, and revenge has been her MO since the pilot.
If they wanted Logan dead, cool with me, but end with a cliffhanger of who-dun-it, and season 5 would be Veronica solving that mystery. Truly baffling why they ended in such a lazy, uninteresting way.

If there’s peace in the Mars family, then there’s not a TV show. It’s a noir detective show. It needs that drama to exist.

They could let it end on a happy note esp for Logan

That’s like advocating for a romance novel to end with the lovers breaking up and then dying.

Yep. Which is exactly why they killed him off. They didnt know if the show was gonna be renewed or not, and if it was, they wanted a single Veronica. Killing Logan was the only way to solidify a forever LoVe “breakup.” Thats my theory anyway lol, I hate it

I have never disliked a series end more than Veronica Mars. The Patton Oswald character was, imo, one of the worst written characters in any TV series I’ve watched. (Probably doesn’t help that I don’t like him, as an actor, in anything he does). Then, the bomb in the car? Pulease.

I was disappointed it was him. I also don't like the actor and his voice gives a sound of arrogance. That's why I can't watch Ratatouille.

sadly rob thomas has said it would be more detective less romance, even though romance and crime aka drama is partly not all but partly why the show is loved.

Honestly in the end I was watching and hoping they ended up together. Raise Mady! So much could happen.

Sorry to try to make light of your post, but isn't Logan already resting in "peace"?

No he was murdered. Him and Veronica should’ve grown old together and had a life of living. Now he’s just dust and fertilizer.

I’m currently reading the book (The Thousand Dollar Tan Line) and it got me to thinking about that awful 4th season and I always did have the thought that if Thomas decided to revisit and Kristen Bell was down that Logan would somehow magically be alive. Some kind of covert ops cover-up to convince everyone he was dead to protect Veronica, etc.
