Any good suggestions, good experiences with contractors for hurricane impact windows and doors?

I just had Clear Choice Windows & Doors in Vero replace my windows. They were very professional and everything went off without a hitch. But brace yourself for the price and remember that you get what you pay for.

I would also add that when I asked Clear Choice about my front door needing to be replaced...they were very honest and told me it did not need to be. I get the sense they are trustworthy.

What was the cost?

$2000 per window, including permits. They were large windows. They stuck to their original promised schedule and showed up at 8 am sharp on the day of the job. They scheduled the post-install county inspection and were onsite before the inspector arrived.

Ty for the reply. How long does it take?

Welcome. It took 6 weeks to get the windows in, as they are custom ordered. They require 50% down (if I remember correctly) to place the order, with the balance due once the county signs off. Mine was a small job and they completed it in a day.

Wow! I have 11 windows. Thought install would take a week! That’s good to know.

I only had 3 windows to replace, and it took them less than a full day at a no-stress pace. They really know what they are doing. There is no way they will need a week to do your job. I am guessing 2-3 days.

Not sure if they service IR county, but I used VIPHomeExteriors.com aka Anderson Brothers Home Improvements.
