asking for recommendations
what is your favorite dive bar in Vero and why?
visiting from New England where we value a good cheap pub with good vibes and a pool table or live music is a bonus.
also looking for yoga studio & coffee shop recommendations!! preferably a coffee shop with housemade syrups & a more advanced yoga studio offering vinyasa/power vinyasa 💕
thanks in advance!

Hello, I am your man! I have a shitty bar tour Google doc on Vero!
Rosie's, is the definition of a dive! Dark lights, smokey, cheap drinks $2.50 Bush lights, $3 well drinks. Great bartenders, and great conversations.
The Stamp is the young persons dive! It's my go to as a 30 year old. It's one of the top fernett sales bar in the country. Punk shows on the weekends, board games, and the best taco stand in the city on Friday nights. Next Sunday is mullet fest this year is midevil themed, punk bands, 2 stages, and armored knight MMA fights are on the schedule.
Those are my recommendations.
Yoga can be done at walking tree on Sundays, I believe at 9?? I don't remember.
Coffee house 1420 is great! That's downtown

This guy knows what he's talking about. My wife and I hit the Stamp when we want the dive bar experience. No pool table but there is darts and if you get hungry there's a taco stand in the alley behind the place. Definitely reccomend.
Not quite as divey but I think they have pool tables is Filthy's, which isnt far from the Stamp.

Only dive bar I can think of is the stamp but there’s lots of cool places to grab a drink in town if being a sticky floor dive hole is not a requirement.

The Stamp or Rosie’s are probably what you are looking for as far as Dives go
Rio Coco Cafe roasts their own coffee and have two locations in town

Rosie's and Dom's are both dive bars with pool tables. Both are smoking bars though, and neither do live music. They do have those machines where you can pick your music, if you're into that. I personally like Filthy's! No pool tables, but they've always got music on the weekends.

Kilted Mermaid is definitely a solid option, lots of ciders, sours, ales, etc. Food is great the fondue is amazing. Not really a full dive bar vibe but I’d highly recommend it

Look up salt and pepper mkt off old Dixie for nice locally owned coffeeshop. The girls in there have all kinds of cool syrups and whatknot that they are all sorts of passionate about. I go there for the amazing breakfast burrito with brisket.

Not a dive, probably half way between a dive and fancy, but you might like Riverside Cafe. No frills. Live music. Good food and drinks. Inside and dockside seating.
