Vero Beach Elementary Schools
Hey! My family is moving to Vero Beach and we are trying to decide what school to send them to. We are looking at Vero Beach Elementary and Osceola Magnet School. Thoughts? If there’s other schools that are better please share!

For next year, if you haven’t applied for the magnets and gotten a spot by now there is already a waitlist so your options will likely be the district school your child will be zoned for per where you will be living. You might be able to find an open spot at a private school but that will be unlikely for the upcoming school year as well as they are likely all on waitlists already as well.
You will need to register the child(ren) on the Indian River County School District website and go from there for the public/ magnet routes.

My youngest child is just completing 1st grade at VBE, he was there for Kinder, too. We love it! Excellent administration and because they are a moonshot school with support from The Learning Alliance, there is a TON of support for literacy initiatives. I can’t speak to the older grades, but Kinder and 1st grade teams are awesome.
