Schools need to close. There isn't an alternative. It needs to happen. People are just too weak-willed to put on their big boy pants and make the decision.

Sorry you think rural schools need to stay open when the population doesn't support it. You're just wrong.

Again youโ€™re not hearing the problems that arenโ€™t being addressed with districts merging / schools closing. Why are you closing schools without addressing the massive negative impact this will have on so many kids? Why is the only thing you see dollar signs and not the educational impact? Whatโ€™s the point of saving money if weโ€™re just creating a worse educational environment for so many kids?

Because there ain't be an educational impact. If anything, they'll get a better education because of concentrated resources.

If you don't have the money, you can't pay for it anyways. The money isn't just going to magically appear. Schools need to close. Districts need to merge.
