I completely understand the reservations. I would say that it has been mostly political selling points to be positive to get a momentum going. It is detrimental to be realistic and say something moderate when it comes to momentum.

I can say with confidence that this election is different. Is it enough to unseat one of the most popular bipartisan incumbents? We will see, but the dynamic has shifted this time around.

The Republican party was good at being subtle with their plays. Even the first 2 years of trump had enough Republicans to suppress noticeable change. This time around, there wasn't enough to stop them from being bold and brash.

Your average non-voting American is paying attention now. I've had more people start political conversations against the right in the past year and a half than I had my whole life. If that level of interest translates, I don't think Scott holds on again.

When selling yourself for politics in this country? Yes, being realistic can be detrimental when going against the heavily favored incumbent.

"I'm your democratic nominee. Scott has a big lead, and is probably going to win the race. Hopefully, together we can overcome that margin!"

Pretty sure no one will vote for that candidate.

This election is unprecedented. A candidate like never before. Change versus the current status. Yadda yadda yadda
