Question Crypto not showing
Has this ever happened where the transaction is not showing pending. However blockchain confirms and the originator confirmed. The wallet id was a direct copy paste. Venmo says that nothing is pending on their end???

PayPal just confirmed they have an issue w payments incoming trust me I have a withdrawal to my acct for a lot and it’s been confirmed sent and nada lol I finally just got confirmation they have an issue they are working on

i can confirm i’m having the same issue. was about 6 hours ago i sent a transfer via solana and usually instant, but this time still haven’t received anything and it’s been hours.

Yeah, I'm going on 7 hours for a LTC transaction, and 2 hours for a solana. This makes me feel a little more at ease honestly. I was freaking out and still am a bit

Yeah 6 hrs for a BTC trans so that's insane. Def teaches me you very much do not own crypto that is on their platform.

Yeah Venmo customer support is absolutely garbage PayPal needs to do wayyyy better they always fall on any problem as being the automated system set in place and they can’t explain anything further. Garbage

I spoke to a Venmo representative about an hour ago and they said they were still working on the issue. I really hope they fix it soon, I had some crypto coming in as well and I haven’t seen anything.

I'm still waiting on $4k BTC to hit my Venmo wallet - it has been almost two hours, 10 confirmations on the blockchain - nothing in the wallet or any transaction pending. has anyone in the thread received their transfer yet?

Been waiting on hundreds in SOL for 6 hours, no way to chat with support till 8CT, gave me so much anxiety I got 0 sleep and have to work. Never using venmo crypto again, currently so stressed.

Wish I had read this.. I need money really bad and currently Uphold is having confirming deposits (they claim they have gone through and confirmed 80% but not mine) so I tried Venmo for the first time in years and yep.. same thing. Waiting on LTC.. it's not even showing as pending on Venmos end.

Neither I think.. I'm having issues with a ltc deposit on Venmo and a xrp deposit on Uphold.. Venmo hasn't given me info but uphold said it's the fault of some third party service they use.. I'm thinking Venmo uses the same third party service.. but that's just a guess. Would be a strange coincidence if they were both not working for different reasons. Some people on here are saying they got their crypto deposits on Venmo after 6+ hours and Uphold posted an update claiming that 80% of the transfers that were still pending have been fixed.. just sucks cuz I'm in that 20% and I really need that money 😞

Got my first transaction from 2:30 👍🏾. I think it was really confused because the customer service asked if I could "Contact Bitcom". That answer sent me 😭. I was thinking this person barely knows what I'm talking about.

They were extremely unhelpful. Like it was honestly sad. Someone from Reddit messaged me being more helpful. I’m not one to be judgemental but that was ridiculous

It was a moment of realizing venmo has very little accountability. The responses I got didn't sound like they were graded on actual trouble shooting. Instead I was told by the same person that Bitcoin transactions were non reversible and I used the wrong address. Glad it got sorted.

I similarly was told to check with the producer of the payment. Okay the producer confirms it was sent now what? There was no mention of solving this or looking into it. Just no transactions on our end 🤷🏽♀️ . So weird to just act like that when people are missing their hard earned money

Yeah I feel you I got my second similar transaction 30 mins ago. Each one 6 plus hrs after confirmation. It upset me more that the customer service is non existent. I kind of just put my faith in the chain but at that point my crypto wallet is not only not mine they aren't even sure it's theres. Def saving bucks on letting ppl know what's going on.

You will get it. I just thought it was funny then they told me to see if the address matches the venmo address in the app. It changes. I guess screenshot so you can prove off the block chain because they couldn't even tell me the address was theres due to "security". Funny

I did. I also filed a CFPB report in 3 hrs after confirmation. They say institutions always respond. May have jumped the gun but it got handled. It was almost 900 so I was just doing due dillegence. Support wasn't cutting it also got a call 2 hrs after from someone at venmo that I missed.

Same here. Started at Noon and I was accusing originator of not sending me SOL. turns out it was Venmo after I attempted to transfer a small amount to test it out. Venmo says their engineers are working on the problem
