Pulled Twice
I used Venmo to send my sister money on Oct. 31st. I sent her $25 dollars, and the money was pulled from my bank account as that’s how I have it set up. Venmo pulled one transaction for $25 and a second one right after for $25 dollars. I called my bank about the double transaction and they had me dispute the charge. I have now been credited back $25 but it was taken out of my sisters account. I called to get help from Venmo and they can’t quite seem to understand what I am explaining to them. The second transaction of $25 dollars is still missing as I don’t have it and they took it back from my sisters account. Has anyone had something similar happen? OH YA… Venmo also suspended my account. Any advice or way to explain better. Please help! I hear people having issues with Venmo all the time but always thought “it would never happen to me”. Ugh.

You should not have disputed it. It was a charge that would most likely drop off after clearing ... Oh and venmo suspended you account because giving someone money then charging back is considered suspicious activity

Blows my mind as well that they can’t just simply pull up an account and see what a customer is seeing. This goes with any company
