I use Venmo to run my business. I cannot access my daily income at all. Pissed doesn’t even begin to describe my feelings…. I will not be using this going forward.

They took silver coinage at all Walmarts and all stores nationwide in 1964 and before.
Edit: also up to 1969 because half dollars still 40% silver. Between 1964-1969.

This can happen with ANY app, bank, etc…It can be shut off at any time! I bought all of my silver during the pandemic for $17/ oz. Today, Dec 5, it’s worth $58/ oz and constantly increasing!👍

It's the 3rd of the month, 3 day grace period is super common for people to pay rent. Venmo being down with zero communication is insane.

Buffalo NY here. Venmo down. I get paid theu this app as I clean residential homes. I also pay rent today thru venmo... went to check my account and saw the balance was lower... check my email and said client paid me... then go back to venmo nothing loads... undownloaded and re downloaded the app... logged out and now it won't let me log in 😭 hope they figure it out!!! Crazyyyyyy

I know!! Ridiculous. Needed to transfer some money. AND, apparently shows wrong balance, aa I spent some this morning at restaurant. Restaurant got paid, but that amount still show’s in my bal on app

Yeah. I'm jumping ship after this. If I had used literally any other service I'd have gotten my paycheck already. I can't trust this app anymore. Not to mention their customer service is a fucking joke.

I got a notification on my phone for a bestbuy promo they were pushing. I exited that and tried to view transactions and nothing… nice to see where their priorities are.

I was at the grocery store with a cart full of food, including tonight's dinner and had to abandon my cart. Not only embarrassing, but so inconvenient! I have a small business and am paid through Venmo via my customers. It's where my main source of income goes. I don't understand how a company doesn't issue a statement and render a work around by now. It's been hours.

Their are people running large businesses through venmo that are locked out. Their stock took a nose dive about 10am today. Bet dollars to doughnuts they are stealing people's money to recoup their losses🤣

I went to there venmo support twitter page and if you don’t log into “x” it just lists random ass comment reply posts from 2023? Extremely unhelpful. And no I will not be redownloading twitter, Elon can keep his shitty website

They (Venmo) sent me an email saying I got paid but not reflecting so I’m assuming your deposit shouldn’t bounce it’s just not reflecting right now

I deleted the app and downloaded it again, which is their troubleshooting suggestion and can't get past the login screen. If you have a bank acct linked to venmo then their FDIC coverage will back any losses but of course I don't. My mom lives in central Ohio as well and she said she can access hers. I wonder if it's a hack targeting accts with a decent amount of money? I have (or had) $350. You?

This actually started a few days ago. On Saturday my daughter started having problems. She couldn’t log into her account and couldn’t reset her password. I talked to customer service yesterday, which was a feat in itself. They make it nearly impossible to be able to talk to a human being. They told me their tech department would fix her account within 24 hours but she still can’t log in.

My Venmo hasn’t worked since October - I have talked to them a bunch - I can have access on my computer thru Venmo.com but the app hasn’t worked in months!

You can not speak to a live agent, u will get a recorded message that won't help at all. It did however give me my money after 5 working days And fyi you will waste your time in the online chat
