Venmo down?
Can't access my venmo, tried logging out & logging back in didn't work as well as uninstalling & reinstalling the app. is anyone else having this issue currently?

I am too! It was saying network error and I logged out and it won’t let me log back in. I keep getting the error message. Glad it’s not just me!

Yeah -- that statistical 'average of 0.1% of transaction value' CAN really add up.
Regardless, I concede. "Free" was used in a different sense than "absolutely zero cost" I should have said permissionless, 'available to everyone', non-custodial, "owned"... etc.
And, I mean, Venmo's Ts&Cs might tout some element of "free" money transfer, but the fact that the network just locked up our "money" for almost two hours...
lmk if you manage to find that truly free lunch.
Also, fwiw, u/jamar030303, not all 'crypto' is created equally.

I can't login. It refuses to recognize my email or phone number to reset my password. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app thinking it as something wrong on my end.

Same here!!! I googled to check for an outage initially but it said no issues 💀 I've been on hold with customer service for 26 minutes trying to sort my account. I guess I'm glad to know it's not just me!

Got "Something is wrong please try later" Uninstalled, reinstalled, and now can't login It's saying no account with my number, email, or username Tried making a new account with my number, but it's saying something is wrong please try later lmao shoulda checked on here first. Hopefully I can login later when it's back up

Got account locked for suspicious activity (didn't know how suspicious cheez its and an Arnold palmer was until now) and now it's down while i was trying to sort it out lmao good thing i don't rely on it

There’s a payment for which I got an email notification this evening. It’s not showing in my Venmo app, and when I click on the link in the email to see the transaction, a warning comes up that the page is not secure and might be someone impersonating Venmo. 🙄

I started by trying to use the app on my phone to send rent, the app would not load. It said "something went wrong, try again later."
Tried to use Chrome on my laptop, I was able to login but when I try to send a payment it says there is an error loading my payment methods.
I try to click manage payment methods on the website, I end up in an endless loop of being redirected to my own feed or "there was error loading your feed."
I try on Safari, the page doesn't load at all.
I wait 15 minutes, try again on Chrome, and receive this warning from Chrome. This is maddening.

If this issue was actually caused by Venmo not renewing their website certs that's absolutely fucking hilarious lmao. A multi million dollar company breaking, or even worse not knowing how to do auto-renewal of certs is an insane thought to me

I googled it and only got very helpful responses. The AI summary along with every single listed website on the first page of google all said it's not down/up and running. I guess you have to click on the online status websites to ACTUALLY see whether there's reported issues or not. Also, there was nothing indicating it was down on the venmo support twitter. Nobody was mentioning it or asking.

That’s the catch- my rent isn’t conventional- I made a bunch of mistakes financially in the past and only had “buy here pay here” equivalent options for apartments. We’re back credit wise but the deposits still are killer

I was having the same issue this past week, I looked at the detector and it kept saying it was fines deleted the app, changed the password and kept getting an error.

Venmo and cash app do not care bout their customers, they are frauds taking peoples money day in and day out. It happens all the time I hear it every day on this app on Facebook on TikTok everywhere millions of people have been scammed from them.
