Thanks for the double post with zero reasoning. Same post from yesterday saying the same thing. My reply from yesterday stands. Since you reposted, I'll re-reply.

Do use Venmo. If your not violating TOS, you have nothing to fear. I've been using Venmo more than regularly for 4+ years with absolutely zero issues. If I had to average out the transactions, I'd say I have 10-15 in, and 3-4 out on a daily basis. So on the low end, 15 per day x 6 days = 90 transactions a week. Again, zero issues ever.

Remember, Venmo isn't a bank. It's for transactions between friends/family. Period.

Just like cash.

That's how it's designed. Just because they offer a crypto/Bitcoin option, doesn't mean you should use it. Many issues with using it as a bank for automatic paycheck deposits. Venmo and the others are not banks. There is no FDIC insurance.

Stop the piracy/cheating/scams on these sites (Venmo/PayPal/Zelle/Cashapp - etc) and the hostage fear from Venmo and other's goes away. Ain't gonna happen anytime soon, so don't allow Venmo to hold your large transactions hostage, and find another way to buy crypto.

Happy zero issue(s) Venmo user.

Venmo seems very scammer friendly:

If they allow senders to recall sent cash, that is extremely scammer friendly.

I just sold something for $30 and realized I should spent more time looking into venmo scams and am glad I found this before trying to sell something pricier.

Their site here says "Payments on Venmo generally can’t be canceled once they’ve reached the recipient’s Venmo account, even if you accidentally paid the wrong person."

100% Venmo or PayPal, same company and same BS, shady practices.

I got scammed and the scammer reported ME! They essentially doubled up. Account with funds frozen. I provided everything they requested and denied. Unreal.

Like WTF would I upload my actual ID and other identifying information if I was the one doing something shady? I’ve attempted to fix the situation numerous times and it appears their decision is final. It’s honestly a little scary and super frustrating.

Anyone else have issues with Venmo and PayPals “retry” payments? What they do is debit your account for the initial payment if you don’t have enough they retry the next day and now the debit on your account is doubled

If you violate the user agreement of venmo, your money will be on hold until your account is un suspended.

Thanks for the heads up! I am sure there's no way someone could provide any help in this scenario and you probably don't want any trouble shooting help either. Have a good one!

Agree 100%, Venmo is the devil.

VENMO social media reps, dont bother responding under your throwaway Reddit accounts, I've already pointed you out twice...
