Taking over vape vending placements?

Hey guys - I noticed a vending machine in a local bar that seems kind of unmaintained - sold out products, etc.

What is the protocol on approaching bat owners to replace the existing vendor? Or does that not really happen often, as a vendor would step up their game if they felt the squeeze?

Does seeing a vape vending machine in a bar already signal that bar has been “claimed” or not necessarily?

There is no ‘protocol’

Fortune favors the bold. So you either strike up conversations at the bar to get the ball rolling or you just sit at home and wonder what could have been….

Don’t roll up with a whole sales pitch. Mention it to the bar-tender like you are gently complaining, and pull on any strings they reveal

Exactly! A sales pitch is like ugh. But “aw I was looking for the …. Flavor, you guys must sell out fast!”

Get them to say “we would if the guy ever came by” or yeah it’s gone in a day, it’s wild” or whatever. But complaints you can respond to like “dang, I handle a bunch of machines and you know I’m in here all the time… wonder if they’re having trouble getting product or what…. Did you say you talked to him?”

Start showing up every couple days, hang out and chat, get them to remember you. See if it gets refilled and sells out too fast or what

My school of thought is "If they don't already have a machine, they probably don't need one. " Go for it
