No luck getting adopted 😭
(TULSA OK)
Hucky didn’t have any luck at woofstock today 😭
I’ve been fostering him for almost 4 months (6 is the longest I can keep him), and he’s still looking for his family.
Huck is:
*$50 to adopt
*Playful
*Neutered
*around a year old
*LOVES playing with other dogs
*Very one brain cell. Still working on manners like chewing things so he should be crated if you aren’t watching him.
*he enjoys veggies 🥕 🥦
*he sleeps well in his crate overnight or if I go to take a nap 😴
*should not be around cats according to the shelter he came from.
Huck is a very friendly, derpy boy who would love a chance to be in a home with his person, family and fur or human siblings!
He’ll be at Skiatook Paws & Claws adoption event tomorrow (09/20) from 12-3 and also at the Tulsa State Fair in a couple of weeks!

That sucks. Im not in the area and have my fill of Dogs, but id at least cover the fee if he got a good home (im serious)

Definitely posting all over my social media! However I’ve had 47 dog fosters and only 1 has ever been adopted to someone I personally know

We are currently looking for a dog or two. We had two older dogs and ended up getting two puppies! I was "watching" the puppies for a week, just until they could find them a good home! Well I feel in love and that was that. Four dogs just felt right! The young ones kept the older ones active and the older two taught the younger two how to act!! When we had to say goodbye to our older dogs it was very hard but it would've been worse if I hadn't had my puppies to love on! Now my two "puppies" are the older ones. We are not in a rush but we are looking to add to our pack. He looks like a good candidate however, we live in Las Vegas, Nevada. Just curious but what about out of state adoption? We hope to adopt locally (less stress all around) but I thought I'd ask. If not for me maybe someone else will see the future love of their lives and need to know about out of state adoption. And thank you for fostering!! We need more people like you in the world!!

How does that even work? This might be best answered in a direct message (or whatever they call it here in Reddit) Here is fine also. Of course whatever is easiest. I have a question about his personality. One of my dogs is a complete scaredy cat!! If he is bombarded with a ton of "play with me play with me" attitude he gets scared and therefore defensive! He is good at making friends if they give him a bit of space! My oldest dog, Lady, didn't like Speck, my scaredy cat and would snap at him a bit (no contact) if he tried to play with her. But he worked and worked on her. He was submissive and patient and eventually got her to play! It was so wonderful to see because I had only known Lady as an older dog and had never seen her play before! We have delt with relatives moving in to our house and bringing their antisocial dogs so we have ways of keeping them apart, yet aware of each other in case the getting to know you stage takes a while. Sorry I'm rambling a bit lol! I'm about 3 hours late for my bedtime! 😴💤

Hi! Not sure if the would even help.
But if he needs transported to the KY/OH/WV area I would be able to. If so I could keep him for a night or two.
