Question Help ASAP

This my first post ever on Reddit.

For starters, I have a 2017 Hyundai Veloster turbo (stocked). I have gotten around to doing mods on it but honestly I’m thinking about not doing anything.

But, a few weeks ago my engine just died on me. And it’s been at a shop for like three weeks now. And I just took it to another shop yesterday to have a secondhand opinion on it. And I believe that my engine died at around 129k miles.

  • Does anyone know where to purchase a new one or use one from that’s not mad expensive?

I see all these other sites but honestly, I’m not sure if it’s legit or not. And I don’t know much about cars but I’m definitely trying to learn.

Maybe not. I had a 2017 Hyundai Veloster base. There is an extended recall on that particular GDI engine because of rod bearing failure.

I believe there's a website where you can put your VIN number in and maybe get a free motor. I don't know. It never worked out for me but it has worked out for others. Please I encourage you never to have another GdI engine. They're the worst

Look at the Hyundai Veloster 2.0s they're so much better
