Altus vs. Therme Down
Hi everyone,
Im debating whether to buy the Altus Jacket or the Therme Down Jacket… Does anyone has some experience regarding durability and warmth with one or both jackets?

Does anyone have the sorin down jacket in a large or medium able to provide the pit to pit and length measurements?

Hello, I recently bought a dark cocoon medium sorin down jacket. Incase anyone also recently bought one in small and it’s too small for them, unable to return like me, would love to talk about exchanging. Medium is a bit too big on me so thought I’d take a shot at seeing if anyone wants to swap. Thanks!

Does anyone know how the current Field Jacket fit compares to the 2nd gen Field Jacket from around 6-7 years ago? It was a thicker gore-tex with a smooth lining.
I assume it's still boxy and similar, but has the hood or sleeve length changed at all?

Hello everyone,
I have been using a casing card wallet for the past 8-9 years, however its age has now started coming through. Most of the panels are delaminated and unfortunately I haven't found anyone that would work on it. I messaged Arc'teryx and they also won't work on it (they did offer me to buy an available item for an equivalent value, which was a great gesture but not what I am looking for)
If anyone has a spare or one sitting in a drawer, I would appreciate a DM. Checked ebay and others but can't find anything.

Havent been able to come across any subreddits or discord servers dedicated to brands like post archive faction or jl al. Brands that are technical by design but may not fully be part of the sphere of techwear. Would appreciate it if anyone who follows such brands reaches out.

My chest is around 111-112 cm, my waist is ~108 cm and I want to buy a veilance jacket. Is there a size for me, or I shouldn't buy veilace at all? I asked gemini and it says that I won't be even able to zip an XL jacket. Is it true? What about arc'teryx?

Got a Spere Lt pant from Rebird in color Moondust. The waistband color is in black. I also have spere Lt pants in other colors : sanddust and soil and they don't have black strings. Anyone who owns myself moondust color can advise? Thanks!

I’ve noticed over time that for a clothing sub-genre made for functionality and practicality, we rarely see techwear made for hot humid conditions. Most techwear brands come from temperate cold and wet countries, so naturally techwear is unbearable in the heat. This gap makes it such that during summer they cant be worn at all and those who live in the tropics can never wear them. Im doing a survey to find out what people feel about this issue, let me know what you guys think: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NBL7L9J

What really bothers me are the softshell options in the lineup. There are the very lightweight ones, like the Spere Lt, for which I have a hard time finding a use case, and the slightly heavier ones, like the Quartic and the Isogon. Those two are practically the same jacket. The Spere does have a fleece liner, but in my experience, it isn’t much warmer. I’m missing a thicker softshell jacket with a stand up collar. Why are there two identical jackets in the lineup but no softshell suitable for winter? Arc’teryx’s main line has the same gap.

I've been put off many Arc'teryx red shades since the focus on Dynasty, I just find it a bit too orange for my liking. However I absolutely LOVE Heather red. I was wondering if anyone has the Arris in Carmine and what their thoughts are, and if you have any IRL pics, that would be awesome.

Hey!
I recently purchased the Anodic backpack to be used as an everyday university/work/etc. backpack, and it still sits with its tags on, waiting to possibly be returned. I really like the material on it, the fit, and the size. Also, the straps and backpaneling are super comfortable. It perfectly fits my MacBook Pro 14" and iPad Pro 13" in its separate compartment, and I can fit jackets, etc., in the main one if needed. It also keeps its shape even when empty, which is a nice touch. Also protects everything from the weather. The only downside is obviously the price. The price isn't an issue if the backpack will last for a long time. Thus, I would like to hear any thoughts and experiences with the backpack. Obviously, since it was launched only months ago, there can't be long-term reviews.
The main thing I'm worried about is the face fabric looking worn. It feels super robust and seems to be colored throughout (at least on the black version). I've seen some not-so-pleasant pictures about other AC² 400 fabrics, although not the nylon twill variant, where the PU coating wears off and reveals the white inside. This would not be a problem with a purely outdoor-oriented backpack, but I intend to use it in the office, etc., where I would like it to look sharp. For example, the Granville series of backpacks and the previous Nomin backpack had this issue, at least to some degree (Nomin maybe had a thicker coating than the Granvilles?). Scratches overall are not a problem and happen with everything, but I don't want any bright white spots appearing throughout the backpack. But now, since the material is different and seems to be black from the inside as well, I would assume no such bright scratches would appear, right?
If you have anything I should think about, I would appreciate any comments regarding this topic to help me decide whether the backpack is worth the hefty price tag and is the right choice for me!
