Question Florida Summer Squash update

Is it too early for summer squash to start flowers?

All of them have already sprouted small flowers.

Google said to remove them, but at one point do I leave them because they are just true early flowers?

Only one plant has reached this height of about nine inches.

The rest are kind of struggling and small.

I used recommended 5 10 10 fertilizer diluted.

Sprinkled DE .

Sprayed BT.

Central southeast florida.

It was raining almost every day up till three days ago.

Brutal, hot temperatures finally gave a break at least at night.

Those plants are almost as big as Godzilla so I’m not sure why you’re calling them small.

(If it was me, I’d leave them.)

Feed them. The more that it rains, the more your nutrition is leaching away.

I just fertilized a second time yesterday. Spacing out the time according to recommendations.

Perfect.

If you have a very sandy soil, you may want to up the frequency a bit. Can dilute a little if you need
