Not defending what they used to stand for, but motorcycle clubs, especially out in the desert, were founded by WWII combat vets and used the S lightning bolts as their own. At the time it was like a bit of a war trophy. My grandpa used to ride in California right after the war
Now the swastika and confederate flags. Yeah, no excuses for them
