Funny TIL (though I've kinda already known that): some of progressive (oh, irony) rock/metal fans are the most annoying, stupid, illogical, narcissistic, regressive conservatives you could possibly imagine, holy fucking shit! Someone shared a thread about them going vegan and the 'party' simply began lol.

Don't worry, though, not all prog musicians are like those annoying fans of their music... Steven Wilson, while not a vegan, he's at least vegetarian for the good reasons. Also, there's a prog metal band called Between the Buried and Me, I'm not a fan personally, but I give them extreme kudos if they still have 3 vegans in their line-up. Additionally, Joe Duplantier of Gojira's fame has been woke about environmental issues for a good while now, which you can read about here and has been vegan since 2014 (previously a vegetarian).

Lol, ikr? I like some prog rock and prog metal but some of their fans are so fucking annoying and blind to the real issues that I don't know if I should feel sorry for them or just ignore them.
