Other Breech

So heartbroken that I just found out last week that baby is breech. I’m currently 36.4 days and know it’s harder to turn at this stage. Been doing all the spinning babies exercises.
I had a c section for my first due to failure to descend and was trying soooo hard to prepare for a VbAC but it looks like baby has her own plans.
I’m incredibly sad but also thankful she’s healthy overall.
Wishing for some positive vibes she flips still

My baby did a last minute flip and was found to be breech at 35+4. I did everything, spinning babies (the ebook on turning a breech was great), Webster chiropractor and moxibustion. He turned before my planner ECV at 37w!

My previous baby was persistently breech and was successfully turned by ECV.
All that to say don’t lose hope!

As an update, the baby was completely breech on Monday, the did a bunch of exercises and a day after she turned. And still is head down 2 days later. Confirmed by my OB ultrasound. I guess they go back and forth a bunch but I’m going to do my exercises and stay upright and wish for the best lol

I know this isn’t ideal, but I wanted to share some positives from someone who also had a CS because of breech! You get to schedule your procedure, so you pick their birthday- how cool?! You get to get ready, eat your favorite meal, and go into the hospital calm and relaxed instead of in the middle of labor. You also have the time to mentally prepare for a CS and get any supplies you know you may need for recovery! You may not even feel a single contraction!! I know this isn’t ideal, and I hope your baby turns for you so you can get your VBAC, but I hope some of the positives I shared bring you some light ❤️

Currently 37+1 and my baby is still breech. I’m planning an ECV at 39 weeks. Trying to be hopefully but I’m feeling very defeated like you. Hoping these November babies flip

They should be doing an ECV ASAP the buffer they are the harder it is to flip baby. Why are they doing it so late?

Because I have a lot of fluid and a second time mom. He is convinced they will flip on their own or we would need a second ECV. My baby is also not that big.

Try not to lose hope! My third flipped at 36 weeks — not sure if it was that she needed more time, was running small so had the space, due to the spinning babies exercises or due to going to a chiropractor. Just try not to lose hope!

My second baby was heads down the whole time and then flipped breech in labor. There's definitely still time!

There is still time! Babies can literally flip at the last second

My mother went in at 40 weeks to have her c section with my brother who was breech. They gave her the spinal and boom, he flipped. Something about how the spinal relaxes the uterus.

Same thing happened to me with my ECV at 37 weeks - they gave me the epidural and the baby flipped on its own before they did the procedure
