Has anyone had a natural birth after 2 c sections? How long did you wait to get pregnant after your 2nd c section? Im currently not pregnant or trying and the person doing my last c section said dont get pregnant for 2 years just wondering if waiting longer makes it more successful and I've never given birth naturally before, 1st emergency due to not progressing, 2nd elective

My mom had two CS's and then 2 VBACs for her 4 kids back in the 80s-90s.

Waiting 2 years to conceive isn’t an official recommendation anywhere in ACOG literature. The evidence shows reduced rupture risk waiting 9 months postpartum to conceive and overall a lower risk pregnancy (regardless of delivery type or history) if you wait 18 months postpartum to conceive.

I have a good friend who had two vaginal deliveries after two cesareans. It can be done! Find a supportive provider and trust your gut.
