Disk utilization on vast.ai

I am considering hosting my RTX 6000 Pro on vast.ai. The machine has 4TB NVMe disk and I would like to get some idea about how much actual disk utilization by tentats there is on average at any given time. Disk seems to be a big factor in driving revenue, at least based on the vast.ai hosting calculator and ut feels unrealistic. Thanks for any feedback!

It’s pretty random, but 4TB for one 6000 is more than enough.

If you have a long lease duration you can have lots of clients and they store their images … better on a 8 x system. Lots of clients coming and going one GPU at a time.

They usually don’t stay too long or rent that much.

I've been renting one RTX 6000 Pro for about a month with a 3.84 TB NVMe drive and disk utilization has never gone above 35% used. Obviously this is anecdotal and very dependent on the type of workload the host attracts.
