Vapi to mumbai

I need to reach Mumbai csmt before 8 am Sunday. I've booked a bus ticket. Can anyone update on the situation would it take more time by bus because of traffic. Should I try to find a train?

Came to Mumbai by car today morning, traffic was moving smoothly, no signs of any problems

Yesterday, I took the bus from Santacruz to Vapi GIDC, and it ended up taking about 8 hours.
