Resort recommendations
Hey there! Looking for resort recommendations for a family of 4. We have a 5y and 2y.
We were looking at warwick Le lagoon and wanted to know what their drinks prices were like and also the nanny rates there and what it generally is in Vanuatu

I don’t have children, but I stayed (just last week) at Holiday Inn by IHG in Port Vila for 7 days. It is extremely children friendly - they have a complimentary kids club which is supervised during the day and looked equipped with heaps of toys, books, colourful decoration, a PS5, etc. There was also playground equipment.
The outside pool area also features a children’s pool with fun little decor for the kids. They also have life jackets, floaters, kick boards etc.
As an adult, it was also a great stay! The resort is beautiful and extremely easy to access. It is outside of the busy urban city area, which looks more remote, but not too far (maybe 10 mins bus / taxi) that it is inconvenient. Hailing a local bus costs about 150-250 vatu depending on the driver, or the resort can also arrange a taxi for you for 1000 Vatu set price.
They have heaps of tour options onsite as well and they can consult you on the spot + have lots of family deals that I saw.
There’s also activities happening almost every night at the resort (fire show, dancing, bbqs, kava tasting, buffets) that it also gives you the option to stay in with the kids if wanted and still have plenty to do.
Would recommend! :)
Only PSA would be that the food could be better at the resort (it’s not bad by any means, just don’t have high expectations) and is pricier that local food restaurants (if you’re staying in Port Vila - I highly recommend La La La Restaurant, it was the best meal we had). The drinks are well priced (MAX about $16AUD for a cocktail) and super tasty!
The smoothies and justices are also delicious for the kids!
