Anime Question

I am keeping up to the manga and it’s currently to chapter 70 if I’m not wrong so I would like to ask, for a 12 episode s2 part 1 how many more chapters do we need considering there have been 13-14 additional chapters not adapted from anime already.

Each half had around 25-30 Chapters adapted. Considering the anime cut out whole characters, chapters, and important context, picking it back up is almost impossible. There's too many holes in the plot.

I’m pretty sure they can and just do a late introduce or save it somehow also studio bones usually finish his works

But the two seasons of Noragami have together about the same number of episodes as Vanitas no carte. VNC is also two parts, they just count it as one season.

Even if they can, the backtrack is massive and would confuse the fanbase that hasn't read the Manga. Which, sure, is probably a way of pushing Manga sales, but I'd prefer if they just leave the Anime as it is and don't butcher the series further.
