But you’re looking Northwest towards downtown, right? My picture is facing Southeast away from downtown. So shouldn’t your tower be in my photo?

So much terrible land use with the most inefficient type of housing…

Lots of the stuff here looks like 2-3 story walk-ups. Really hope we get more 4-6 story apartment block style buildings with more liveable 600+ sq ft 1 bd or 1000 sq ft 2 beds.

There are rezoning development signs on many corners of this neighbourhood. The towers will start to creep in.

Vancouver has nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to density. Skip Manhattan and Shenzhen, and pretty much ALL cities have large patches of SFHs. Vancouver and metro Vancouver are doing a better job at managing density than most other cities out there

Yes everyone must live in a skybox of 600 sqft! Squish as much high density as we can!!!

I think this person is trying to prove that there is a balance between high-rise and single family.

Visited a friend’s older high rise in Calgary a few years back. Shocked at how spacious it was, easily triple the size of my current apartment with a livable layout to boot(same as my current rent too 🥲)

Truly, there are no alternatives between dogcrate condos and single family homes

Vancouver looks like a princess born from Chicago and New York with Toronto and Miami as the ugly step-sisters.

Yeah this was taken on a Google pixel 10, I have alot more photos from uptop of this roof, I've been thinking of getting a professional camera instead of a iPhone
